PGTEK is proud to partner with the DoD SkillBridge program, designed to connect transitioning service members with valuable civilian work experience through internships during their last six months of service, for up to 180 days.
The PGTEK PATH (Professional Advanced Training for Heroes) offers service members the opportunity to develop skills and gain work experience, with the potential for full-time employment following the internship.

Technology Apprenticeship Program
At PGTEK, we are supportive of all of our US Military. As a measure of that support, we have created a proven Technology Apprenticeship and career development program centered around hiring Veterans who are recently completing their military service and training them in a fast-paced, professional ecosystem called PGTEK Academy. The goal of the PGTEK Academy program is to provide technology career opportunities to its participants. We have expert trainers that work with our Academy participants to build up their skill sets and mentor on how to be a professional technology consultant. We also offer the ability to study and achieve industry leading Certifications. We offer a variety of roles for these employees from onsite residency roles to full-time travel roles. We invest heavily in this program, thrive on the success of its graduates, and pride ourselves on the culture it has established at PGTEK.
PGTEK was honored by the U.S. Department of Labor as a recipient of the HIRE Vets Medallion Award, recognizing our commitment to recruiting, employing, and retaining veterans.
After receiving the Gold Medallion in 2023, we are proud to share that we have now earned the Platinum Award for 2024.

In 2024 the Employers Support of Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Utah chapter presented PGTEK with the distinguished Pro Patria Award. This esteemed accolade represents the highest honor that a state ESGR chapter can confer upon an employer, recognizing their unwavering commitment to supporting our nation’s service members. PGTEK was nominated for this honor by a PGTEK employee for their exceptional support of both National Guardsmen and their families. This award highlights PGTEK’s dedication to fostering a supportive environment for those who serve, ensuring that military personnel and their loved ones feel valued and respected. We take great pride in celebrating this significant achievement and commend our soldiers, both current and former, for their exemplary contributions to our community and our nation.
